Amy E. Childress

amy-054_4Amy Childress is the Gabilan Distinguished Professor of Science and Engineering and Director of Environmental Engineering in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at USC. She holds a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Maryland and M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of California, Los Angeles. Her research interests include membrane contactor processes, pressure-driven membrane processes, membrane bioreactor technology, colloidal and interfacial aspects of membrane processes, and solar ponds for brine reduction and energy recovery.
